Trouts view of the a.d. spinner. A very nice silhouette. This baby cleans up during the spinner fall.

The hook is a montana fly company 7125. Its a nice quality hook. I havnt had the chance to fish with the hooks yet though. I will report how they do in field.

  1. Please update on how you like them hooks. Great looking tie and proportions on that hook.

  2. Johnny I 'm really liking thee versions of the trico spinner. I'm gonna have to try to tie a few up. Although they ate the usual spinner pattern pretty well the other morning. Makes me wonder if I showed them this, would I of caught more fish? Is this your go-to spinner pattern?

  3. I will post up how I like the hooks for sure.

    George,
Thank you. This is one of my go to spinner patterns for the trico hatch. I will be posting my other pattern which is tougher to see on the water, but floats great, holds up well, and the fish eat it.
